As part of an experiment inspired by the name of the track, the band attempted to record a lo-fi version of the tune Lo-Fi on a cassette four-track recorder using old, inexpensive instruments and tape recorder microphones. The first attempt, documented in the video of the tune (see our YouTube channel), was less than successful, due to a lethal combination of (possibly) faulty equipment and (certainly) ignorance. Our second attempt is presented here.
